“Being a successful photographer is 50% talent and 50% marketing (comprised of strategy, discipline and a dash of luck). While you might have a consistent photography practice - are you making time to market your talent?" – Sabrina Y. Smith Morgan, co-founder of NARA collective
FIND YOUR VOICE. MARKET YOUR TALENT. BUILD YOUR COMMUNITY.
NARA collective is offering an intimate one-day workshop for professional photographers who are currently without representation. Led by NARA founders Sabrina Y. Smith Morgan and Ashley Edes, this event will offer valuable industry insight and concrete actions for you to grow your photography business.
Sabrina was previously the US director at photography + art agency Probation, the Features Editor for The Ground magazine, and the Director of Creative Content at Interscope Records. She’s also curated numerous fine art shows in New York and has been selected to be a judge and mentor for Filter Photo, FotoWorks, Medium Photography and Art Takes Miami/ See.Me. She brings a wealth of knowledge in artist representation and photo commissioning for music, advertising, editorial, fashion and more.
Ashley spearheaded global marketing for IMG fashion’s 30+ events worldwide where she launched and grew @FashionWeek to over 1 Million. She also set the tone for the photography style and projects during Fashion Week and managed their partnership with Getty Images. She then moved to LA to run Experiential Marketing at TOMS, launching their new locations, driving artist collaborations including Dallas Clayton, Diana Garcia and James Goldcrown and creating ‘WE ARE ONE’ by TOMS + Girlschool, a Female + LGBTQ Identified micro festival during SXSW. She offers high level insight into large brands and how to best work with them.
